Fox & Goose Public House

This weekend was nice and relaxing, which was perfect after a rather stressful week at work. It also provided some wonderful quality time with the boyfriend - it was great to have a weekend to catch-up after spending some time apart! <3

On Sunday we had the pleasure of brunching at one of my favorite Sacramento restaurants - the Fox & Goose Public House. Modeled after a traditional British pub, which satiates my love for all things British, I think it's definitely one of the best restaurants in Sac. I had a delicious Bloody Mary and the Benedict Arnold with tempeh strips and Welsh rarebit cheese as a spread - TDF!

If you haven't been, I strongly recommend that you do. They're located on 10th & R and as Steven put it, 'They're one of those places that's hard to eat at because there are too many good choices on the menu.' So if you visit us at any point, we're definitely eating there.

In other news, we're also striking up the house search again. Steven's been wanting to get a Jeep Wrangler, and I want to get a kitty-friend. Steven's condition is that we find a bigger place to live so that the cat has more room to run and play. It's a totally justified reason, and makes a lot of sense, but it's so hard to adhere to when there's this cutie who needs a home from the SPCA:
